Chemical Fume Hoods
Traditional Chemical Fume Hoods protect users by containing vapors, particulates, gasses, and other fumes generated within the hood, and removing them via the air flowing into the hood and then out of the lab exhaust system.
Snorkels
Snorkel exhaust fume collectors are a small form of ventilation hood. These can be situated in convenient positions thanks to their flexible structure. Snorkels get close to the source of fumes and particles.
Bio-Safety Cabinets
BSC’s or Biosafety Cabinets use HEPA filters to provide environmental, personnel or product protection. Depending on use and configuration, they may exhaust back into the lab environment or out of the building.
